A Heartwarming Christmas Gift for Pregnant Stray Kitty
This Christmas must be the most unforgettable for this pregnant stray cat. When walking down the street of New York city with the big belly, shivering in the freezing coldness, the tabby cat got rescued by some pet lover who immediately sent her to the city shelter.
This sweet cat was affectionate and cutely named Sugarplum in the shelter. When volunteers of the non-profit organization, Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition(BBAWC), got aware of the fact that Sugarplum was about to give birth, they wanted to offer this poor mother-to-be a comfy and secure place to welcome her babies.

Within days, they managed to find a foster home for Sugarplum. On Christmas Eve, these warm-hearted volunteers put the tabby cat on her new, warm and comfortable bed, and soon she was in labour. After hours of pains, she had four furry cuties, three of which resemble her and one fully black. She was so attached to her new-born family members and kept feeding, grooming and petting them, even though being exhausted. The mother instinct was so strong for this used-to-be-stray cat that volunteers needed to check from time to time to ensure Sugarplum be in good state with enough intake of food and water.
Now these five kitties are living happily in the foster home with a carefree future. When the kittens are 14-week-old, they will have been fully vaccinated and neutered, available for adoption. To make them less lonely, they will be adopted in pairs. Their cuddly and loving mother will also get well adopted when the kittens are settled.
A beautiful Christmas story for every pet lover. Share with your friends who will like it!
